Well here it is already November, 2015 with snow on the ground.  for various reasons I have chosen not to participate in plein air events this summer and aside from some water color work have not painted much.  I have sold a few pieces from available works which is still inspiring.

So please excuse this hiatus from creating and we will see what the future holds!

I will be participating in the second annual Shorewood event.  Here are the details:

SAVE THE DATE! Shorewood, Wisconsin presents 2014 Plein Air Shorewood from Wednesday through Saturday, September 17-20, 2014.

There will be 60+ professional plein air artists painting outside throughout Shorewood for four days, and you are invited to come share in the excitement!

All paintings will be on display and for sale at the Shorewood Public Library on Saturday, September 20, 2014, for a community Gala and sale.

Artists receive generous juried prizes which will be awarded at the Gala.

Schedule at a glance:

• Wednesday, 9/17: Community Dinner - meet the Plein Air Artists at Hubbard Lodge 6-9pm
   

• Thursday, 9/18: Shop Walk and Quick Paint in the Business District 4-8pm. Award $100 gift certificate for best chalk art!
   

• Friday: Breakfast 7-9am at the Plensa to celebrate 4th Anniversary of the Sculpture; Block Party at Kensington Square 6-10pm
   

• Saturday: Quick Paint at the Lake 8 -12 noon, Free Collectors' Sneak Peek 10-12 noonLibrary (purchases may be made at this time), Free Gala and Artist Awards at the Library 6-9:30pm. Over 250 paintings on display!

Having recently taken up watercolor paints, I am pleased to say this little painting sold at the Cedarburg Plein Air event. Looking forward to more experimentation with this medium.  This was done during the Port Washington paint out portion of the event.
