Having recently taken up watercolor paints, I am pleased to say this little painting sold at the Cedarburg Plein Air event. Looking forward to more experimentation with this medium.  This was done during the Port Washington paint out portion of the event.

A recent commission completed in the studio from a friend's Alaskan vacation image, near Tutshi Canyon. 11X14 oil on canvas board.

My painting "In the Distance" will be up for the members show at the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend.  The show runs from December 6, 2013 to January 5, 2014.  If you have not been there to see the new building and the fine art collection you should put it on your to do list!

A nice 3 day painting event in Shorewood came to a close this Saturday evening.  It was well run and despite a rainy start the painting went smoothly.  It was great to see so many friends out and about in the village and at the social events.  Hope this inaugural event continues next year.
